Return & Refund Policy – NutriOwn


At NutriOwn, we strive to deliver premium cosmeceutical and nutraceutical products that meet your expectations in every way. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a fair and transparent return and refund policy to ensure your shopping experience is smooth and secure.


1. Eligibility for Return and Replacement

You may initiate a return or request a replacement/exchange within 7 days of delivery, subject to the conditions mentioned below:

Return/Replacement is applicable if:

  • You received a damaged, leaking, expired, or defective product.
  • The product delivered is different from what was ordered.
  • Some items/accessories are missing from the package.

Return/Replacement is not applicable in the following cases:

  • Product is used or tampered with.
  • Seal of the product is broken.
  • Original packaging, labels, and accessories are missing.
  • The return window (7 days) has expired.

Note: In case of non-availability of a replacement due to stock issues, a full refund will be initiated instead.


2. How to Request a Return or Replacement

To raise a return or replacement request:

  1. Log in to your NutriOwn account and visit the Order History page.
  2. Click on the specific Order Number.
  3. Click the Return / Replace button beside the product you want to return.
  4. Select a valid reason, upload necessary images (if required), and submit the request.

You will be notified about the approval status within 24–48 hours via email/SMS.


3. Return Pickup and Quality Check Process

Once your request is approved:

  • Our logistics partner will schedule a reverse pickup within 4–5 working days (excluding Sundays and holidays).
  • The product will be inspected at the time of pickup and again after it reaches our warehouse.

Quality Check Parameters Include:

  • Product must match the one shipped (brand, type, variant).
  • Packaging must be intact and resealable.
  • No signs of usage or tampering.
  • Security seals, batch numbers, and expiry dates must be intact.

If any parameter is not met, the return/refund request may be rejected, and the item will be sent back to you.


4. Self-Return Process

If reverse pickup is not available in your area, you can opt for a Self-Return:

  1. Initiate a return request as described above.
  2. Pack the product safely in its original condition.
  3. Ship it to the warehouse address provided in the return confirmation email.
  4. Update the tracking details (AWB Number, Courier Partner) in the Manage Returns section within 7 days.

We will reimburse the courier charges (up to ₹100 or 10% of product value, whichever is lower) post verification of the receipt.


5. Refund Process

Refunds will be processed once the returned product passes our internal quality checks.

Refund Modes:

  • Prepaid Orders: Refunded to the original payment method (Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI).
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: Refunded via NEFT/UPI after verifying bank details.
  • Wallet Payments (if applicable): Refunded back to the respective wallet.
  • Coupons/Offers: If used during the purchase, will not be re-issued.

Refund Timeline:

  • Prepaid/Online: 5–7 business days post approval.
  • COD: 7–10 business days after providing valid bank details.

Note: Shipping and COD charges are non-refundable.


6. Product Categories with Specific Guidelines

For Health Supplements:

  • Return will only be accepted if the product is received in damaged or expired condition.
  • Due to safety and hygiene concerns, opened or used products will not be accepted.

For Skin Care and Cosmetics:

  • Return/replacement allowed only for unopened, unused, and sealed products.
  • Cosmetic items are non-returnable if the seal is broken due to hygiene regulations.

7. Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped. If your order has already been dispatched, you may raise a return request after receiving the product.

If the order was placed using a discount coupon, and a part of the order is returned, the coupon benefit will be revoked, and the refund will be adjusted accordingly.


8. Non-Returnable Products

The following products are strictly non-returnable:

  • Gift Cards or Vouchers
  • Freebies or promotional products
  • Opened supplement bottles or cosmetic jars
  • Products without original packaging and invoice
